Market development in China

Maribo Seed is pleased to announce that we have now agreements in place to ensure we will be present in the three main beet growing areas of China. In Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang, our partner is Heilongjiang Beifang Seed Company while in Xingjiang Province, we will be working exclusively with China Seed

Furthermore, we are undertaking a major trialing program for the three main areas of beet growing in China (Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang and Xinjiang province). We are submitting two monogerm varieties for official first year trials, and are also doing internal trials of a ten monogerm and five multigerm varieties, in order to create a diverse portfolio of varieties for the Chinese market.
